The Israel Winnicott Center was founded in 2008 with the aim of creating a space dedicated to the study of Winnicottian, post-Winnicottian, and Independent theoretical and clinical thinking, with an emphasis of their relevance to psychoanalysis in the 21st century.

The first study program, launched by the Israel Winnicott Center in 2008, is a three-year accredited advanced diploma course in psychoanalytic psychotherapy for experienced psychotherapists. Today, in response to widespread requests from our graduates, this program also includes further study courses, offered to fourth, fifth and sixth year students.

The second program, launched in 2012, is a three-and-a-half-year accredited diploma  course in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, for creative and expressive arts therapists.

The third program -“Road Map”, starting this year, 2014, is a basic three-year accredited diploma course in psychoanalytic psychotherapy for recently qualified psychotherapists.
